Reconnecting your Envoy

Steps for reconnecting your Envoy using an Ethernet connection

We've determined that your Envoy is connected via Ethernet. Now let's walk through the process of fixing your connection.


Determine what type of Ethernet connection your Envoy has

The Envoy can be connected to the Ethernet in one of two ways. Select which one applies to your Envoy from the options below:

 

My Envoy is connected via Ethernet bridges:

Ethernet bridges are used when your Envoy is located too far from your home's internet router to connect to it directly. If your Envoy is connected via Ethernet bridges, you will see one Ethernet bridge connected to your router, and a second Ethernet bridge plugged in near your Envoy, as shown in the images below:


My Envoy is connected via Ethernet cable:

If your Envoy is connected via Ethernet cable, you will see an Ethernet cable connected directly from your Envoy to your home's internet router, as shown in the images below:
