How will I know if there’s a problem with my system?

Understand how the Enphase system monitors operation and performance

The numbers and graphics at the top of the page tell you how well your system is doing. If you see a display like this showing a green checkmark with Energy and Power numbers, then your system is fine with normal system production.

If there is a problem, then MyEnlighten displays a message to help you know what to do next. There are four types of problem messages:

  • Your system has stopped reporting data.
  • Some microinverters have stopped reporting.
  • There is a production issue.
  • If your system has a revenue grade meter, it has stopped reporting.

If your system has stopped reporting data, you’ll see a problem message like this:

If some of your microinverters have stopped reporting to the Envoy, you’ll see a problem message like this:
micros_not_reporting.

Click the link in the message to see which microinverters are not reporting and their location in your array:

If your system’s meter has stopped reporting, you’ll see a problem message like this:

If your system experiences a production issue, you’ll see a problem message like this:
production_issue

A production issue status indicates that either your system may have produced less energy than your installer estimated, or that Enphase has detected a possible hardware issue. To find out which of these generated the issue, click the link in the message to open the status window that describes the problem.

If there is a hardware issue, the status window displays which microinverters have a possible problem:
