What is the Envoy?
Get details on the Enphase Envoy and how it works as part of your system
The Enphase Envoy® Communications Gateway™ is an electronic networking device that transmits information about how your system is performing over the Internet to MyEnlighten.
During installation of your system, your solar installer placed the Envoy in the best location for communication, so it is important that you do NOT unplug or move it. Otherwise, you will interrupt transmission of data to MyEnlighten.
Like its name, the Envoy acts as a messenger between your microinverters and MyEnlighten. The Envoy collects energy production data over your home’s electrical wiring and then sends the collected data through your router over the Internet to MyEnlighten so that you can monitor your system’s performance.
