I know that a system has a consumption meter installed. Why can’t I see the data in Enlighten?

Learn how to request access to consumption data from a system with a consumption meter installed.

Unlike solar production, consumption data can reveal personal behavior patterns. To respect consumer privacy, only the resident of the home can see consumption data by default. If you need to see consumption data for troubleshooting or other purposes, you can request that the resident give you access.

To request access to consumption data for a system, click the Devices tab and scroll to the bottom of the page where the Consumption Meter information is displayed. Click the Request access to consumption data button.

Enlighten sends the system owner (if the system is owned by the resident) or host (if the system is third-party owned) an email that explains your request and gives them a link to approve it.
