Rooftop Solar System Installation in Gurugram, India for Mr. Rohit Yadav
15 units of IQ7+ microinverters, with Canadian Hiku 410 Wp Solar panel.
Rohit Yadav is a software architect living in Gurugram, India. Concerned about the intense air pollution in his city, Mr. Yadav wanted to invest in a solution that would help him reduce his own carbon footprint while providing a good long-term return on investment.
He says, “Pollution is a major problem and health hazard in most Indian cities including my own. Most Indian power generation plants are coal-based, the growing trend and adoption of renewable energy, EVs got me excited about rooftop-solar plant.”
Mr. Yadav decided that he wanted to install a rooftop solar system. In particular, he wanted to find one with superior safety and reliability that had enough power to help him significantly reduce his electricity bills.
The Enphase Solution
After careful research, Mr. Yadav decided to install Enphase IQ 7+ microinverters with his solar panels. He was most impressed with the fact that these microinverters not only increase the safety of the system, but they also allow for greater flexibility and panel optimization. Additionally, Enphase IQ 7+ microinverters are easier to maintain and provide superior reliability.
“Traditional solar inverters are string based where solar panels are connected in series (they add voltages) and come with their own bag of issues. After some survey and reading, I decided to go with Enphase IQ 7+ microinverters.”
Mr. Yadav reports that he is easily able to monitor his system’s real-time production, consumption, and adjust electricity export to the grid via the Enphase Enlighten app. He is happy that his solar system is helping reduce his utility costs while providing clean, renewable energy.
“After deploying the system and observing it since January I’m satisfied with the results so far. The daily production and ROI analysis show that the solar rooftop investment would beat fixed deposits (post-taxes), save electricity bills and promotes clean energy that would benefit the environment in the long run.”
Mr. Yadav was so happy with his experience that he wanted to share it via a blog post on his personal website. You can check it out here:
