The amount of data transmitted varies depending upon the number of microinverters in the system and the hours of generation during the day. For a typical 16 microinverter, 4kW system, the Envoy would transmit a maximum of 2.4 MB per day. Unless the bandwidth of your connection is already stretched or is already experiencing slowdowns, you should not notice any impact on your connection speed from the Envoy.
